digital movie cameras

There is no better way to document the joyous events in your life than to digitalize them and create your very own holiday movie. There is no secret formula, you can start right away by gathering around your closest friends, loved ones, pets, or simply any of the people you treasure most significantly in your life, and get started with filming them right away.

A great way to begin is to try and capture the stars of your holiday movie when they are at there most unsuspecting or natural. Whether they are busy preparing the holiday meal, or busy setting out holiday decorations and lighting; try and capture the extra effort and extra touches the stars of your holiday home movie are putting in to make the holiday that much more extra special for everyone else. Keep in mind that as you go about trying to catch the stars of your holiday movie unaware, you can offer the viewers at home, scene by scene narration as you film.

Start by describing who is doing what, as you film each individual. As you do this give your opinion on the job performance skills that she or he is demonstrating. If you happen to encounter someone who is really shy, try asking them questions as you record footage of that individual; try having them explain to you, step by step what they are doing, and why its so important. Most times they won’t leave you hanging, and may even surprise you by opening up enthusiastically once encouraged.

Don’t forget to get some great shots of the indoor outdoor decorations, the special meals prepared for the occasion; the special guests attending any of the holiday parties, and lastly and most importantly, don’t forget to include yourself. Hand someone else the camcorder and do at least a brief introduction as host and camera person of your own holiday movie. As an afternote: Remember to just have fun as you capture the special people and holiday events in your life. Its all about having a good memorable time, and capturing those special holiday moments in a digital medium. So what are you waiting for, get out your camcorder and get started! And no matter the occasion, have a safe and happy holiday.
